When shoudl u get a pain checked out?

Like if u have a pain but its jsut a pain and it hurts and all shoudl u go ot a doctor right away or do u wait i say wait atleast 3 days or untill u pass out

i never go to the doctor. i've had a pain in my foot for the last few weeks. i think it's a bone spurr. i've been icing it and trying to stay off it, but it still hurts. i'll probably end up having to have it chopped off
