why don't they take other things/ideas from other now-defunct federations (sans wrestlers and the nWo).

-How about utlizing the 3 ring Battle Royal event of World War 3?

-Stealing Starrcade for a December PPV instead of Armaggedon.

-Take the Lethal Lottery concept and that big curtain deal.

Do you have any other ideas that can be used for the betterment of WWFE?

I always thought that the World War 3 battle royal was god awful, but I would kill to see another war games. They don't even have to do the original 2 ring set up. With a few modifications the hell in the cell cage would do nicely.

Other then that, most of it is better off dead. (Just had a flash back to the Mrs. Bagwell on a pole match, ick.)

Hosp is right - WarGames: The Match Beyond!

To this day, I still say that War Games is the best gimmick match in existence. Hell in the Cell is nice and all, but nothing beats a well-done War Games match. Pretty much ever War Games from 86 to 92 was golden, and I totally think the concept would go over even with a WWF crowd.

I'm hoping they use the match somewhere down the line, especially if the split happens.

To make it a trifecta, WARGAMES!!!! The best concept to settle big grudges ever! I don't think I've ever seen a bad one, minus the nWo vs. WCW vs. Piper and Warrior or whatever...I never bothered with that one...

hate, you mean Inferno Match that the WWF did before them and they used a ring surrounded by fire.

THe WWF was taking suggestions as to what to do for this past Survivor Series through their website and I submttied that they should have used War Games as a farewell to WCW. Even saying that they could show some highlights on excess, hype about Austin having prior War Games experience and all. But I guess they wanted to stick with their wn traditions.

God, I just had a flashback to the FIrst Uncensored. Dustin RHodes Vs. The Black Top Bully in a king of the road match fought in the back of an 18 wheeler. Jim Duggan in a Martial Arts match against Meng.

Do you mean the Ready to Rumble triple tier cage that actually had a point or the Hogan-Savage/Dungeon of Doom=Horsemen debacle that featured Le Zeus and The Ultimate (changed from final because protest of jewish groups)Solution? Where for some reason even though they had to exit the entire cage to get from the second level to the first level, it ended with the Bootie man sliding in frying pans, a pretty weak head shot, and then hogan walking out

How about the Barbed Wire First Blood Cage match between Flair and Hogan that didnt stop even though both of them bladed?

Man I hated WCW!!! If it wasn't for their raping of ECW's talent roster I probably wouldn't have even cared for the last 5 years.

WCW may have taken the talent, but the WWF stole all of Heyman's good ideas and "attitude" and claimed them as their own.
Then in the final days of ECW, they stole all the talent too.

The triple-tiered cage was sometimes known as the "Tower of Doom", and it goes all the way back to the 80s. It's first appearance, near I can tell, was in the WCCW promotion, but there was a Tower match on the 1988 Great American Bash. It was Road Warriors, Jim Garvin, Ron Garvin, & Steve Williams vs. Kevin Sullivan, Al Perez, the Russian Assassin, Ivan Koloff and Mike Rotunda.

But if I remember correctly Se7en, that was more of a reverse battle royal where the first one to climb out of all three levels and make it to the floor won. And I think the top cage was barely the size of a phone booth.

What wouldn't be bad was the old NWA Bunkhouse Stampede. Pretty much a hardcore steelcage battle royal. I remember this being considered Dusty Rhodes' specialty and they would use Bull ropes and ladder. Just imagine one with some high flyers and risk takers that the wwf has now. I picture TLC on speed.

And, Yes Se7en, the WWF did steal the Attitude, but they also used it wisely. WCW tried a few times (Raven's Rules, Hardcore Title {Norman Smiley?}) but like everything else they did it failed miserably. And near the end I don't blame any of the ECW talent that jumped, the company was dieing and they weren't getting paid. Some day I'll tell you the story that Simon Diamond and Damn Marie told me how Paul Heyman is responsible for them still not being married.
