I just heard on wsou that my favorite band, Fear Factory has broken up.
Citing the typical "irreconcilable differences" these pioneers of modern metal have called it quits.
I suggest anyone who's into any kind of rock, be it classic, straight up rock, metal or Industrial, if you haven't heard of them, give them a listen.
They put on some great shows, and played great music IMO. They will be missed....

um, what?
response edit: I reccomend all of it. they've gotten progressively softer as they went on, but if you're into the Death metal sound, check out "Soul of a new machine" but otherwise, "Demanufacture" is their best album...

um, what?
now that's funny...
Sorry about your favorite band breaking up...
You never know what the future holds, like them getting-back-together...
I waited about 23 years for my favorite band to get-back-together, but it was The Best!
:)
But they've broken up again, looks like for good...

fearfactory.com, their official site. they say the story's from roadrunnerrecords.com, but I haven't looked there. I'd love to beleive it isn't true, but it all looks legit... :-(

They do a good version of "Cars."
