View Full Version : Ron and Fez's career history
I know they were on in Florida before they got to NY. Anyone know what station, cities and years they were on? I'm basically interested in knowing their whole career background, just out of curiousity. I don't think they've really talked about their past in depth.

From what Ron said on air...he started as a comedian....then opened his own comedy club. Fez was a comedian too who Ron became good buddies with.
Fez was the sidekick of the Ron and Ron show in Florida

How big of a moron do you have to be to put down O&A's friends and proclaim their greatness. O&A have a problem (rightfully so) with another show on WNEW. Why don't you go to www.donandmikefans.com and waste their time. You'll still be a complete waste of oxygen, but at least you'd be picking fights with the right show.

i remember that someone once said that ron and fez are legends in florida.
that said, how can it be that the show is not syndicated in florida?
head honcho of infinity, if you're reading this, i ask that you syndicate the ron and fez show all over florida.
if you do, and thats a big if and i'll need confirmation, i'd buy one of your cars, possibly the new i35!
:)

It's funny, I remember back in the day when Howard Stern was getting syndicated everywhere and went to Florida, he used to say how used to mention Ron & Ron and how he was going to destroy them. Kind of funny because I didn't know who they were back then, and now I'm spending Friday night on the message board. what's wrong with me?
Cake or Death? Uh, I'll have the cake please.

The boys had some kinda crap contract that kept them out of the Tampa market, where they started. I don't know who their legal counsel was, but they must have signed some crappy non-compete contract.
Infinity hasn't given any station in Florida anything entertaining, just the same oldies and country stations.
We had D&M back when they were funny, but Infinity didn't advertise them and the station went to a cappy sports station.
People in Tampa actually think Bubba The Love Sponge is the best thing going. How quickly they forget.

I do remember WSUN. I recall trying to listen to the weak signal from an AM station that couldn't penetrate office buildings. But yes, I would try to listen to them AND Hooters on the Radio.

With R&R,Hooters and Bob Lassiter, that was some pretty bizarre radio.I think the day Fez and the hooter girls broadcast a BJ going on live on the sunshine bridge and the car horns honking was just classic. <P>
