Just a random poll...could be anyone from network to local to cable? I am just curious.
Here in Philly, I am a fan of Monica Malpass seen on Channel 6 Action News. In New York when I am home from schoo, I enjoy Roz Abrams, she can always do 5 different facial expressions while reading one story.

Who can beat Jim Jenson, from CBS back in the day? I heard rumors he's gone on to the great newsroom/bar in the sky, but this cat was a hard drinkin Lincoln. Coke, booze, Pills, this was Hunter Thompson at the newsdesk.

My honorable mentions go to Jack Cafferty, another grizzled, crazed broadcaster,

Mike Taibbi rocked, as did Reg Harris.

And you didn't ask but for weathermen, give me Llyod Lindsay Young. Imagine him and Fez having a "Hellllllllllllloooooooo" and "Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" face off. Priceless!

LLoyd Lindsay Young!! HOLY SHIT, I remember him on the WWOR Channel 9 news broadcasts...he was like a cracked out hi energized version of Pen from pen and teller...whatever happened to him? Watch out for the THUUUUNDERBOOMERS.

Not a newscaster, but I do love Ti Hua Chang. They give him the shittiest assignments: if there's a Noreaster, they send him down to Sea Bright so he can get blown arounds. Chinese gang wars? Send him to Chinatown so he can dodge bullets. Gotta love him!

One of my favorites that disappeared from CBS about a year ago was Amanda Grove. I heard she moved from CNBC to CBS, but now, where she went, I haven't the foggiest.

i've never seen the guy mispronounce a word, hesitate, do the annoying "uh" between words. the guy knows his stuff and he's fun to watch with a bunch of hand movements and expressions. confident, knowledgable mofo
