Girl stabs boyfriend for washing dishes too slowly
A woman stabbed her boyfriend because he was washing the dishes too slowly, police say.
Elizabeth Holt plunged a six inch kitchen knife into James Demontiney's back as he washed up, it's alleged.
She wanted to go out and he was delaying her by taking too long doing the dishes. She is charged with assault and in custody in Billings, Montana.
Holt, 23, wanted to go to her parents, reports the Billings Gazette.
She became angry with her boyfriend, Mr Demontiney, who she thought was taking too long washing up.
Mr Demontiney, 26, told police his girlfriend then grabbed a kitchen knife, ran at him from behind and plunged the six inch blade into his back near the shoulder blade.
After stabbing him, Mr Demontiney told police she then called an ambulance and helped to treat the wound until they arrived.
Mr Demontiney is in a stable condition in hospital. Holt will appear in court tomorrow.
