A nightmare scenario for sure, but would if WNEW changes formats. We know O and A will land on their feet, either on WNEW or K-Rock, Peace out to the Sports Guys and most likely Don and Mike. But do Ron and Fez make the cut? God I hope so!!! I don't know what we'd do without them I"m so hooked!!! Would WOR be a possible home, or a late night shift on a music station? They must have some clout, they WERE syndicated before O and A. I mean. No matter where they land, hopefully they'll be at worst availble online or on the XM Satalite Radio system. Where do you think they would go?

The boys will have no problem finding work.
I have friends in Orlando who tell me that they ruled the airwaves back in the day, so finding work would be cake. Their talent is well known in the industry. I hope they get to host a Telethon someday. Screw Jerry Lewis and Ed McMahon!

It would probably be uncomfortable to listen too wherever they go, A la chick and Bob. However Ron and Fez are ultra talented and would have no problems getting a job. The real question should be who on their staff would come along with them??

Hey Nature Boy, why are you so worried? I'm sure that Ron and Fez won't be going anywhere anytime soon. They do a great job with the show, I don't think that WNEW will take them off the air if they change formats.

They would go to XM, Radio to the power of X.
We'd have to pay $10 a month to listen to them. I'd do that in a heartbeat, plus the music would be better than any station in New York City. New York radio for music sucks ass.

I agree with the Heckler. They are very talented and would have no problem finding work in N.Y.C. They have held there own for the amount of times their time slot has been changed. And finding a new audience everytime.

Wherever Ron and Fez go (and hopefully in my listening range) I WILL FOLLOW THEM.And the one person I want to go with them is Joe Poo. Everyone else I could cares less about.

based on Ron's comments from 3/19, does this suddenly become more relevant? I'd hate to think of them returning to FLA unless there was some syndication in the works! This format is pure garbage for NEW, as there are only 2 listenable shows out of the day. And I think CB's have more listeners than Don and Mike, the change is coming, the handwriting is on the wall., we just gotta hope our boys either dodge the bullet or land on their feet where we can hear them!

XM rocks! My family got it for my Dad for his birthday since he commutes from LI to Manhattan everyday, now he has a great selection of music to choose from .... I sound like a commercial! YUCK! ;-)

Of course someone would scoop up Ron and Fez and put them with their line up on another radio station. But even before they can do that, I'd kidnap Ronnie and Fezzie, lock them in one big cage, and have them do hilarious comedy bits for me all day long. I'd also charge of fee of 5 bucks a pop for folks to come in and watch them do some comedy in my living room. :)
