God, he flat out sucks on those live spots. But I must say as I am cringing; listening to fezzy cut Joe down while Joe goofs another spot up, cracks me up. the whole inconviently located gyms was a killer. Geez better break the monkey out to do the live spots!

God help me if I have to listen to Joe Poo bungle up another live spot

I was laughing at the fact he was stuttering on every word? DO you really care about the live spots they do?

There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man.

Its great, Joe should do all live spots. He makes it look damn good.

More hilarity even during commercial breaks.

Give the kid a break! I know once I've messed something up I'm so nervous about doing it right the rest of the time that I tend to stutter and stumble over my words a little more. Not to mention the fact that Joe doesn't usually do the live reads so he's just learning. Cut the guy some slack!!

Somebody cares about commercials? Come on.
The kid was thrown into the fire and did a decent job for a first timer. I'm almost certain he never attended broadcasting school or is employed by show to read copy.
Cut the kid some slack.

I find it funny that he wants a gig in radio, but has trouble with one of the fundamental jobs it entails. You can edit a commercial to your heart's content, but if the guy sounds monotone, it isn't going to help that. He has to work on sounding more natural.

I think Fez's "Mr. Roboto" reference said it all.

it can't be easy. i know they said just read, but there's got to be some pressure involved.

Hey, it was the guys first time at reading live spots. If you listen to all the other guys reading live spots you can see that sometimes they fumble threw the lines. I think Joe did an OK job at it, and Fez adding little comments here and there made it hillarious.

The only people who should be mad are the advertisers themselves. It's a lot of money to RNF for live reads, it's so ridiculous. At my former station it was 100 per live read split so you made 50 bux for a minute to read a damn piece of paper. Also if you went out and made an appearncce you got 400 bux an hour

It was so uncomfortly funny I loved it. They should let him do a couple a night. I was laughing my ass off.

Normally, as soon as they start the spots, I mentally tune out. But, when I've heard Poo speaking up the last couple nights (and during the spots they've been rerunning during the day) I listen intently. If I were an advertiser, I'd be happy, though the reads themselves were awful, they have inspired people to talk and think about it. I'd say they were more than getting their moneys worth.

Last in line for the Nobel Peace prize. First in line for pie.
