If two people love each other but they just can't seem to get it together, when do you get to that point of enough is enough?

Again, no it's not a personal issue. It's actually a line from a movie...but I think it's a good question to debate.

well from my point of view i say enough is enough when you get tired of trying to make something that really isnt anything to begin with.

lust and love is hard for me to figure out at times.

Wow, what an ironic topic...I just ended it with my girlfriend last night. (technically we are on a break, but we all know what that means). I think there comes a point when you just cant take the fighting or arguing anymore. Especially when you arent married. I know that I need a little time to just get my head straightened out, time to start over again. Sometimes a little change will do you good...The only question I ask is do u get back with that person no matter how much time? I guess I am basically asking, does love fade or go away??

great question. my girlfriend is my best friend in the world and i love her more than anything but sometimes we are just not on the same page. we fight over stupid things sometimes and once we start those we just can't get out of it.

my answer is if you love someone than you can always try to work it out. there was a long period where we fought pretty bad and we took breaks and talked about breaking up but when it came down to it we still loved each other so we stuck it out.

we kept saying, if this keeps up we should just say it isn't working, but inside we knew it would never come to that. now, after 3 years we are finally hitting our stride and things couldn't be better.

so my point is you can't just love the white bread of someone, you gotta love the crust of the motherfucker. alright that's chris rock's point but if you are in love and you know they love you back don't ever let it go until it's gone.

When it gets to the point that no matter how much you love someone, they're not making your life better. The people closest to us make our lives better because they're in it.

I know my wife is the one for me because my life would be fine without her, but it's at its best when we're together (except when she pisses me off). I think if you can't make that statement, perhaps love in that case can't conquer all.

when it gets to the point when you feel the relationship isn't going to go any further or when you're both not getting along well or communicating well with each other and neither person is really making much of an effort to make things better or willing to talk through things

I think that makes you friends. I have a female friend who is great, but we're out of sync and it makes us great friends and would make us terrible, terrible lovers. My wife is my best friend and we know each other more than anyone. We know when to be friend, when to be lovers, and we always put the other one ahead of our own wants and needs. I don't think the couple could truly be in love if they can't get it together. I would do anything to keep my relationship together, if my man would be willing to do the same.

I think enough's enough when there's harmful stuff involved, i.e, drugs, alcohol or abuse. Otherwise, if you love each other and get along, then any petty arguments are settled quickly.
