There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man.

Why are so many people scared of Bee's?
Because they can kill you.
My brother is allergic to bee stings, and if he gets stung, and isn't treated right away, he will go into shock, and possibly die. Just like Thomas J.

When I was a kid, I steped on a beehive and got a few dozen bites. Not my fondest memories.
Fortunately, I have no allergic reaction to bee venom. As noted by SKIDMARK, bees can produce an encephalitic
shock which may be fatal without an imediate dose of epinephrine. People with severe alergic reactions often carry around a syringe preloaded with epinephreine.
As far as hating bees, I think that many people regard bees as just another pesky insect that will end up doing something nasty to you if not smushed.

hard not to state the obvious, PAIN
I'm not that afraid, got stung a few times over the years...
sometimes when you swing you get to hit them pretty solid and they usually bounce off the ground and fly away...with a really good shot you send them to Queer St and then you can just step on them...
it's the times when you swing and you miss when you start running like a girl...
LOL
damn I'm in a funny mood...

I'm afraid of bees because I have never been stung by one in my life.

Do you think you'd be less afraid of bees if you were stung?

I've been stung by bees and im MORE afraid now than I was earlier. I was stung once in the corner where my eye meets my nose and once on the inside of my cheek and my whole face swelled up. Just a tip: dont hold a soda can out the window while driving and then drink with out looking. Bees will get in yer mouth!!!

I've never hated bees,,but I'm starting to hate yellowjackets,,I work for the Telephone co. and those Mutha effers love to make their nests inside the terminals up on the poles, we usually have a can of bee spray handy, but being in the Line gang like I am we don't use the steps or the ladders to climb, instead we use the gaffs that strap around your legs and then we strap on to the pole,,needless to say when you're strapped in and those fuckers start swarming you only have 2 choices ,,,jump off the pole,,,,or get stung. I always choose the stinging over a broken back and since it happens at least 5 or 6 times a year,,I'm really starting to hate those fuckers.

GWEN - Ouch!

Bee's really don't scare me that much, but the two things that I will run away from like a track star are Wasp's and Ticks. UGGHHHHH!!! F'n nasty!!
I was sitting in a lawn chair during the summer when I was like 11, and it was right in front of a bay window. I didn't realize that there was a nest of those fucking wasps the size of jupiter under the molding of the window. I put both hands back to fix my hair, ( I had REALLY long hair when I was younger). While fixing my hair at least 20 of those evil little things latched onto my arm/wrist......I don't think I will ever recover.....
