Horde,

what do you think of this one...

there are few dreams I remember, but this one has always remained with me...

I'm standing on a very high cliff with my brother and Dad and there is a river below... As i look across to the cliff on the other side there is a pure white castle, it has several high towers and there is a hazy white glow all around it...
we decided to jump and as I was falling I could feel the wind against my face, it seemed to last for minutes before I hit the water... After I hit the water and was descending I could feel the water on my body, and especially my face... As I continued to descend I started to worry about not having enough breath to make it back to the surface... i pushed and pushed and was able to make it... next thing I know I've swam into an underground cave and was lying halfway in the water and halfway on ground... there was a desk and a light and three German soldiers entered through a door into the cave and gathered around the table...
i was very much exposed but they did not see me, and that's it...

thanks to anyone who read through this...

I never thought about my Dad or brother in the dream after I hit the water...

Thanks!

FUNKMAN - Standing on a precipice w/your family may signify some significant fear that you are being helped through. Conversely it may express a wish for support for a difficult time.

The white castle signifies purity - the hazy white glow around it shows you are either not sure of what you consider pure, or that you consider it unobtainable.

You jumped off the cliff, experiencing exhiliration until you encounter an obstacle (water) that threatens your survival.

Nonetheless you survived this threat eventually finding refuge in a cave (a classic Freudian symbolic representation of a woman). It's interesting that you were half sheltered by the cave and half exposed (lying halfway in water and halfway out)

The desk may symbolize school, studying, or even a task assigned to you at work. The German soldiers are "uber" strict unrelenting authority figures (showing that you may feel powerless to change the course of events.)

The fact they didn't see you seems to point to a belief that whatever you're experiencing is "under the radar," invisible to others and perhaps even to your conscious mind.
