Thank god Jamming 105 has been replaced by Power 105.1

This weekend they are playing 10,000 straight "joints" commerical free.

What's even greater about this is that Ed Lover and Dr. Dre are coming back to NYC after a 3-4 year absence!

Granted they will play the same shit hot97 does but hopefully there will be less talk.

I cant beleive that it took so long for clear channel to get a station like that in this market.

I wonder which DJ will take residence up there. Clue? Kay Slay?

hot 97 is the reason i stop listening to rap... could not stand the stupid fucking talk that they spewed out.. just morons.... but i will give this 105.1 a chance.....

Damn, I had a friend that used to work in the Promotions for Jammin 105. I wonder if he still is working there?

They just ran a promo claiming to be the new #1 for hip-hop in NY. Isn't that a little quick?

I wonder if Jay Thomas is still doing mornings?

Yup I read that yesterday in the Daily News Lent. POWER 105... hey better than Jammin anyday!

Finally, Ed Lover and Dr. Dre real competition for Star and Buckwild for the r&b/hip hop audience! Maybe I'll go back to listening r&b over rock... maybe.
