i've been wondering this for a long time, are humans tame? the way the bible tells it, it seems that humans are above animals.

but has anything tamed us, or are we just wild animals that are more advanced than all the other animals on this planet?

Humans are animals, removed from our closest relatives the bonobo monkeys by less than 1% of our DNA. We share well over 90% of our DNA with many other animals.

Humans differ from animals only in that they are sentient, having been blessed (or cursed) with a bigger brain.

Our relatively large brain will no doubt be the ultimate cause of our species extinction. Will it be nuclear, biological, or industrial? Of course it's impossible to say. It's clear that when we do go, we'll take many other species with us. (I guess that's our "great intellect" telling us that if you're going to do a job, you may as well do it right).
