Hey guys I was just curious. What are you into more... the radio show or this message board. Personally I spend more time here at the board than I do listening to Ron and Fez. I listen to them on the way home from work but once I'm home I log on to rf.net

well normally i would say the radio show, but i have been really bored lately so i seem to spend alot of time on the board, i guess it goes back and forth, it's never constant, call it the ron and fez chaos theory :P

I don't know if I have ever actually heard a full RNF show since I came to NYC, but I mostly listen to 102.7 KIIS in LA when going to work.

well the show is on at kinda a bad time for me cause im usually out with my peoples, but i listen whenever i can. the board is good cause its 24 hours and can fit my schedule

Yea, I'm on the board more than listening to the show. That's because Ron and Fez are starting to run out of material and starting more and more into insulting people.-Nuff said

And I like the people on the board more betterer!

ron and fez are only on for 4 hours, 5 days a week(not counting best ofs on saturday), but the board is on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

so, i do spend more time on the message board than listening to ron and fez. but i never miss them, and i listen to the whole show. <P>

Regardless of ratings, this board is about "The Ron and Fez Show". It was created for fans of the show, and mentioning ratings is absurd. You sound like Allan Sniffen.
Sure, 7-11 is not the best slot, but please, stop playing Rick Sklar.

I was just responding to a post that said shame on us for not listening all the time, and I mentioned the TSL ( thats TIME SPENT LISTENING)rating cause when you look at em, it reflects that when people listen its not for more than 2 or more hours, that's all, believe me Im no dentist

Desk Guy, I was being a bit sarcastic when I said "shame" on those who don't listen. Hearing the entire 4 hour show is impossible at times, but I think the show is what matters most.
I know the business and I know that WNEW is having some serious problems with the ratings, but that's not the point. The show should always come first in my oopinion. And that's coming from a guy with the most posts and who was among the first people who joined this board. The thread questioned if people preferred the show OR the board. That's a pretty rude question on a fan site.

I love R & F to pieces, and it's b/c of their show that I remembered there was also a board. ;) But the board itself is filled with great people, so both hold their own.

I usually listen to the show every night I mean i wakeup at like 5 or 6pm so as i cook or should i say attempt to cook and shower and shave there on the air and as I commute into the city i hear them but once i get into midtown i cant get them anymore on my radio to much interefereence
and then i go on the board when i am done with all my paper work and have to wait till my relief comes in

well its too bad that ratings are things that kill shows and not the amount of hard core fans that listen... as my question being rude, the only thing rude about it is the fact that it's true. Hardcore fans never save anything. It helped the radio chick for what a month? She was in the bag, a done deal, they needed someone to fill in the slot till they got don n mike to sign up a new deal. One thing I give RNF credit for is this, they make their show seem like its ours, and no one and I mean no one has ever done it better than they have.

Ron and Fez have never been in a slot long enough to build a strong fan base.
WNEW is in ratings hell, but the shows receive ZERO advertising and promotion, and I believe that if Ron and Fez can stay put for a while in a slot without being moved AGAIN, they will be successful.
I would love to see Ron and Fez back in the current Don and Mike slot, and ship them back to DC where they got ratings. They are failing miserably here.

I listen to the show as often as I can. The main reason I joined the board was to get feedback in the goings-on of the show.

Actually, it would be great if there was a place to get a daily re-cap of what happened. I know I went a whole day wondering what the Ray Wagner thing was about, until hearing the show the next night.

Of course, I know I can't do daily re-caps, and I certainly don't want to put the onus on someone else. Just saying it would be great if it was available.

I've stated this before, but it's worth repeating - at it's very best, this board is a 24/7 continuation of the radio show. Lots of silliness, good natured ball-busting, reminiscing, and an occasional serious topic.

There'd be no board without the show, but the show could certainly survive (and thrive) without the board. Therefore, the show is obviously priority number one on my list, but I must admit I've become pretty damned dependent on this board, too!

I Really like the show and go to get length to make sure I listen. If I miss it I'll try to get a copy off the internet at an undisclosed location. I just started posting here but it seems fun so far.
