Which is funnier? My oppinion is SNL, I caould never get into Mad Tv cause It was just unfunny and bad acting!

i like snl a lot, but i find myself watching mad tv more. maybe it is because it is on earlier and/or it doesn't have as long commercial breaks.

SNL is still the best, i love the jimmy fallon bit when himand that chick in boston go around filming everything, it's wacky as hell.

how are they not the same? they are both comedy sketch shows. but kids in the hall is still funnier than mad tv.

SNL has history. Mad Tv still needs to make a name for itself. SNL is like the Yankees and Mad Tv is like the Mets. There's no compairson. Apples and Oranges. Wankers.

Mad TV is much better than SNL. SNL has the name value, but I've watched it, and nothing's funny. It's just...uncomfortable.

cronicman, how can you say that about KITH? That's only one of the best comedy shows / groups EVER.

i like SNL a lot more than i do MadTV, but i do feel MadTV is more consistant in their mediocrity. SNL is very hit and miss. One week their great, like when Jon Stewart hosted a few weeks ago, and others, they suck, like the show where ellen degeneres hosted <P>

It's a simple equation: there is NO talent on SNL today...none...don't give me Molly Shannon, the unfunny cow. I can't even name half of the cast anymore, they just try to fill in the old spaces and do exactly what the Spade/Sandler/Farley era did...the reason they're still there is because they know they're talentless hacks that will never break out. Look at Tim Meadows...if he'd stuck around, at least he'd still be "the black guy on SNL"...

SNL ceased to be funny right after Chris Elliot left, and honestly, the show blew while he was on. He was the only thing really funny the whole year he was on. I find more consistent laughs on MadTV every week, but neither is something I'd sit home and watch.

I have to go with SNL on this, especially when they do there "ringer" skits...MAD TV has some funny stuff too, but that is maybe once a night. MAD TV does some great cartoon spoofs though.

Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are all great.

Molly isn't on the show anymore thank god.
