i have a problem. i find it very difficult with other women.. i feel like women and very fake and very competitive. i happen to get along with the majority of women on this board, so dont think this about you ladies... but do you ever find it hard to have female friends? that everything is about gossip, and you cant truely trust what they are saying?

in my experience, all the really cool girls i've been with have had the troubles you are having. women always seem like they are ready to turn on each other. take it as a compliment that you are not like them.

I <3 you inky! I have the same problem, most of my friends are guys and I only have 2 girlfriends i really trust. most girls are really catty, and i have trouble dealing with girls like that (fights start)

ALL girls have more guy friends. the reason is simple, they like the attention. maybe not knowingly, but it's the truth. and i don't blame you, it would be nice to know everyone wants to bang me, but they cannot get that from other girls (well, for the most part), so they hang out with guys.

saying that girls suck is just an excuse. girls are just like guys, some winners, and a lot of losers. girls will always have more guy friends and guys will always be stuck being friends with girls they want to bang. it's a vicious circle and it's all the girls fault for being hot.

i'm generalizing here for the sake of argument, so don't jump on me for that . . .

some women say that they like guys as opposed to other women (as friends)cause they are honest, they won't tell you one thing and think another, or tell another friend something else, and so on.

The irony is that men are almost [i] [never/i] honest with women. when a woman asks a man advice, what first goes through his head is "how can i get out of this alive?" there is no such thing as a safe question. eVerything has layer upon layers. instead, he will probably tell you what you want to hear, fearing all of these layers to the question that he can't fathom.

what you are interpreting as honesty, is really fear.

i have to agree too cute, i feel like i have more in common with men, although im still a CHICK (not a girl, if you know what i mean :)) its not about attention.. its not about that AT ALL. most guys dont give a shit about rumors.. they dont care about who is fucking who, they dont care if they break a nail.......

I have alot of guy friends and most I have grown up with my entire life. We've just never grew apart and I love them all dearly. We all live so close to each other and just like to party. All of my female friends have either moved away or we have just grown apart. Its not about attention..I couldn't give a shit about that...I love hanging out with my boys, drinking beer and just being wacky....

im not friends with guys for attention and shit. Im friends with guys cause shit with guys is so much easier. theres no drama about who said what or did this or that. Also girls are always competing over guys which makes everything unfriendly. Basically its cause guys are so much easier to chill with. Girls are competitive and they arent friendly off the bat. So its just that guys are easier to spend time with.

see now that's an argument i can understand inkgrrrl. guys may want to bang you but that's better than the stuff you get with girls. i can see that.

i think my problem is that most girls will not admit that. but if they can like you do and just would rather deal with that than that's cool.

and about attention, it's not like girls are like "oh i need attention and guys give it to me". but if i knew all the girls i hung out with wanted to bang me it would be a nice feeling that i wouldn't mind being around.
