I think Staples really is having some problems that he is taking care of. The whole Joe Poo caller tonight was a work. It was obvious that it seemed worse than it was. Poo will be back Monday. He'll start back at that bottom and work his way back up to good approval by the weeks end.

In Poo's defense, we don't really know why he wasn't in, so i won't call him an idiot for not being there. You never know, some things in life can make your job seem unimportant. <P>

But Gina, Poo's been at WNEW for probably less than six months... I don't think he was there pre 9/11... I work and I haven't taken a vacation...

Besides, couldn't Poo take his time off when the show does? Then again, with the new book starting, they might not go on vacation for a while.

I swore I heard Foul Mouth Elmo on the show Tuesday, so I wouldn't worry so much about Joe.

Plus, even though the on air talent is on vacation, that doesn't mean that the support staff is. Maybe Joe already had this time taken and it just happened to be just in time for some comedy effect.
