I never give an excuse, nor do i say i'm sick. I just say i can't come in, and request sick leave. This way if they later accuse me of faking sick, I'm covered because i never said i was sick. That happened before.

I'm notorious for taking days off and calling in. Guys that I work with made a list of my excuses (1-50) and now when I call in I just I just refer to a number because Ive used em all more than once. Usually various illnesses, problems with house, car probs(can't use this one cuz got a new car) I used to be creative but whats the point they know most of the time Im goin down the shore.
