i tried to post this two seconds
ago and it didnt go through so im
trying again- if it appears more
than once, i appologise.

Why is it that when you have a
friend that is a guy, lets say you
flirt harmlessly with them and the
topic turns to sex, he asks you if
youd ever have sex with him- you
say no and the friendship turns
to shit...

wtf! all of a suddenyour still
friends but the guy acts so cold
and nothing like he used to act
and stops flirting altogether.
Guys can be dicks like that-
throwing temper tanrums when
they dont get what they want.

I think girls are just as guilty of doing that.

I agree that women might do that, however, that's usually if a guy confesses to having feelings for her and she's not on the same page. When a guy does this, almost always it's because he feels rejected and sees the friendship as a dead end. Not the best attitude to take, because he's not giving the friendship more importance over his libido. What a shame. <P>

i think zathus is closest to the answer, if there is one answer. even if we're not interested in someone "like that" we still have self esteem and wanna know how we match up. When we hear "i could never sleep with you" its a kick to the nuts that's really hard to recover from. We want to feel wanted.

the best thing you can say in that situation is " i couldn't sleep with you because we're friends, but if you had gotten rid of all of our history together, i could certainly see myself with you" or something to that extent. lie to us, and we'll worship you forever

why u teasin? that's not right...choose a side, but don't expect him to be happy if he's given the wrong impression...maybe it's his mistake maybe not but that's what it is

lie to us, and we'll worship you forever

oh, christ no. I'd rather have every woman I meet for the rest of my life be honest with me and tell me how awful I am, than ever have another woman lie to me about being attracted to me again... it's just not healthy for anyone involved....

Thanks to Hosp for the Idea:
