Advertising Blunders

I realize that HBO pays good money to advertise on the Ron and Fez show, but doesn't it seem a bit silly to let them advertise for a tv show ("Band of Brothers") that is on at the same time as they're broadcasting? Its like saying, "Hey, if this radio show is boring you, why don't you go and watch tv for a couple of hours?" To use a cliche, who's the advertising genius who came up with that one?

The first priority is to make money. Besides, people can always listen to the show and tape Band of Brothers if they felt like it.

But hey, advertising bucks is advertising bucks! Keeps R&F on the air!

On the topic of advertising, I love the way that Avacor (sp?) guy pronounces "root." It ends up sounding like "roult."

Even if they pointed the 'R' in the right direction, "Toys 'R' Us" should still be "Toys 'R' We".

And I'm just a big ball o' fun for pointing that out.
