Guy vs. Girl Batching

The Horde King recently stated that girls masturbate as much as guys. This, I find hard to believe. Maybe it's that I don't live with my girlfriend, but this, um, friend I know batches at least once a day. Sometimes three. I doubt many, if any, girls do that. At the very least, the ratio is weighed heavily toward men whackers.

I think the difference is that most guys seem to *have* to do it once a day. Girls are more all over the place. Some girls might do it once a day, some once a week, once or twice a month, etc. But girls also have the ability to make up for what a guy does in a week in one day, if they feel so inclined. :)

I dunno, my friend can do it five or six times if he's so inclined. He'll do it if he's just bored, not because of some desperate urge. I can't see a girl batching six times in one day.

Many of my female friends have mastrabated 3 to 6 times a day. It's much easier for women to masturbate many times a day than it is for men.

One big difference in anectodal descriptions or gender stereotypes you may be aware of is that the patriarchal nature of our society has made it much more acceptable for men to talk about all things related to sex, (including masturbation) than it is for women.

Recent studies by gender researchers point to the stereotype of men being more in "need" of sex as a factor that precludes many women from discussing their mastrubation habits.

Keep in mind that all people start masturbating in the womb and those of you with kids know that Freud was really off base when he described a childhood "latent" stage. The big difference of frequency of sex and mastrubation is more apparant as people get older, as men reach their sexual peak at 19 and women at 35.

I'm still astonished that the word is considered obscene. Even a body part like penis or vagina is sensored from the listeners "delicate" tastes. Like they haven't heard it before.

Although I don't think girls do it as often as guys, I don't think many people realize how much girls do it. I personally just think girls aren't willing to talk about it. It's not as common to hear girls talking about it. This is witnessed even by the terminology by which we refer to sexually active men and womenl. A guy who has sex with many different women is called a "stud." A women who has sex with many men is called a "slut."

I honestly don't think women masturbate as much as men. Even if they feel the need to, religion and society has done it's job to make American women utterly ashamed of their sexuality.
