I was doing my laundry tonight, and when I pulled the wet clothes out of the washer, I noticed a dollar in the bottom of the washer. I was curious, because I usually check all my pockets. So I check all my wet laundry's pockets again, didn't find anything more.
Put the stuff in the dryer.
Open up the dryer, and I find seven more dollars.
No idea where it came from.
Anything like this ever happpen to anybody?

I found a Cell Phone in my pocket once after it went though the wash. Ironicly it worked!
Thanks Danigurle! =)

That's not really ironic Alanis, it's just good fortune.

I'm not sure if this is the same, but it runs along the line of good fortune. I'd lost a bracelet my mother had given to me that was given to her from her mom, and I didn't say a word b/c I was too scared of how she would react. I searched my mess of a bedroom up and down twice but never found it. Then one day, I woke up and the first thing I saw was the bracelet hanging off of a tropy on my vanity. It had *not* been there the night before, and no one else in the house had anything to do with it, certainly not my mother who would have certainly ripped me a new one if she found her gift someplace other than my jewelry box. Whatever. :)

I love those Listerine PocketPaks thingies. Apparently, I left one in a pair of jeans I washed. I found the little snappy case, but all of the filmy things dissolved. I dunno which, but one of my pairs of jeans must have a really minty-fresh pocket.

Sometimes I find money my neighbors left behind. Nothing better than opening a machine and finding a few bucks!

Your neighbors leave money behind? Where, in their cookie jar? I think that's called stealing.
