I saw Dice in california last sunday, he was a surprise guest. He wasn't funny at all. Nothing offends me (except angry missy's pic), but damn, he just wasn't entertaining.

I used to be a fat kid, and man, the name just stuck.

i think he's funny, but you gotta show some respect to a comedian who changed the face of comedy. sure some of it's old now, but he is a pioneer of stand up.

people are filthy today, but he opened the door. I love norton and think he's a million times funnier than dice, but dice did open up the door.

when he first became a well-known comedian I thought there was some funny parts to his act...
BUT
As time goes on his humor gets old, repetetive, and insulting...

He is atrocious. How can you say he opened the door what about Red Foxx, George Carlin or Richard Pryor did the langauge barrier and taboo subjects a decade before Dice. Dice was nothing but an 80's Cocaine Comic and he is now just tired and not funny he is without a doubt the worst comedian around. He belongs in the Rosie O' Donnell Paula Poundstone Comedian List. Tom Arnold is better then dice

A Jew trying to act like an Italian. Not funny to begin with let alone trying to make a career out of it. I think it's insulting and I'm glad he's out of the limelight. You want funny? Watch John Leguizamo's stand up show on HBO this month. That kid has talent and he's from my old neighborhood.

Dice bridged the gap between bringing up taboo subjects <as you call them> and Norton's "cup of AIDS" style...Dice was just plain WRONG, he said everything that Carlin wouldn't say...he wasn't trying to be intelligent or make a point, he was trying to make people laugh...and laugh they did...

His standup lacks these days, no question...but he's ALWAYS funny on O&A, and doesn't have a problem with making fun of himself...the problem these days is, EVERYONE does Dice-esque comedy...Norton took what Dice did to the next level...when Dice first came out, he wouldn't have had a Comedy Central special...hell, he'd have been lucky to have had an HBO one..but he persevered and made a great living with it...

And btw-if you think John Leguizamo is funny, then I think I know where the problem lies...god he's awful...he makes Mario Cantone look like a straight man...maybe he'll delight us all with another transvestite movie.

It all makes sense now.
back in the day i was on his silly game show, and during one of the breaks he played that pants puppet game with us clubhouse kids...i really enjoyed my time in the studio that day.
