Kinda HighSchoolish Friday Night No?

Me and my friend went to Lace Friday night to meet up with the Ron & Fez gang--great looking women and a generally good time, but as a "new guy", I couldn't help but feel a little shunned and watched over by many of the "regulars". A bit too much like high school, where me and my buddy were snubbed by the cool table, difference being that 1)Nude women make it pretty easy to overcome any real or imagined attitude, and 2)some people at the cool table looked like their mothers still dressed them. Regardless, had a great time, and CCCCCCCCCCYAAAAAAA!

Honestly, I'm a little surprised by this post, since one of the things I liked early on at the bar crawls, board gatherings, etc., is that I felt I could go up anyone and start a conversation, since everyone there had something in common. Half the fun was talking to someone and realizing you "knew" them on the board.

I think it's reasonable to give us the benefit of the doubt about our socializing when we neglect to approach strangers at a strip club. For the most part, doing so is usually a bad idea.
