Boobage Increase While on "The Pill"

Is there some truth behind this? I've heard women can gain some extra boobage? Have any of you?

Also, I heard women can gain weight from "The Pill" too!

CHRISTY - True to a certain extent. The pill can cause water retention and some women report weight gains of up to 5 pounds on the pill. I can assure you that it is far less weight than you get from being pregnant.

The birth control pill of today is much much safer than the pill of 20 years ago. Nonetheless, they have been tied to thrombosis and embolism especially in smokers. The risks are minimal and are again less than health risks from pregnancy.

Nonetheless, I ask my wife to go off the pill 6 months a year (during which time we use condoms) so as to even further minimize any potential health risks.

You are correct as usual!

Christy, as a woman who HAS been on birth control. I can tell you your boobs do swell the first couple of months after you start the pill. The weight gain is nothing more than water weight 5 lbs at most.

I dunno if it's beacause of the pill or not but in a year i have lost weight and gained a cup size. Weird...

i was a solid B, and after going on Depo Provers and then to Ortho tri-cyclene im now a D.....the word on the streets for real.....boobage is increased, because your body is being tricked to think its Prego......
