I was listening to OanA yesterday during the first hour, and they were talking about the New York ratings. Opie said the station was a mess and that OanA was the only show doing well. I believe I remember last time the ratings were issued Ron and Fez were doing pretty well. Are they in trouble? I hope another time switch isn't in their future.

me thinks this is god news maybe this'll get rid of don and mike. me hopes they fire don and mike and ferrel not cuase he's bad just cuase he get no ratings move ron and fez to mornings or don and mike slot and the rest could be rock sort of similar to the way wysp was be4 donnna and mikey ruined it

Don and Mike suck. I just can't get down with that show man. If you listen to WYSP then you must get WMMR. That's a good station.

nooo. that might benefit you tri state people but if they move them to mornings or don and mike i wont get to listen. I listen to WJFK where we have DonandMike from 11-3pm then O&A from 3-7 then sports junkies from 7-11 then ron and fez from 11-3am. I usually fall asleep before it ends. I hope they move ron and fez to 7-11pm on WJFK i hear the junkies might be moving to DC101 or something.

moving the show around changes the whole audience. they pretty much lost me middays. but putting them against howard is just suicide.

I've gotta agree with Clare. If people wanna laugh in the morning, theyre gonna listen to Howard, even if he IS doing the same routine over and over. R and F would be finished before they could win an audience over. I also agree with the lets get rid of Don n Mike theory; They suck. Personally, I would love it if R and F took over D and M's spot...or even went back to late nights. I'd be able to listen to the whole show without that damn 911 dispatcher interrupting! Either way, I'd be very surprised to hear that they werent doing well ratings-wise. Theyre the BEST__THING__GOING...TODAY!!!

I think I liked the show better when it was on live late night...the whole atmosphere just seemed a lot more random and freakier and the callers were even more bizarre than the guests...maybe it was just a meaner, crazier New York then...but anyways, as much as I love R&F, I gotta agree with everyone saying that Howard would destroy them...and midday is just too slow a slot for them to really work...

I don't know about ron and fez vs. the k rock morning show. I think ron and fez have the best show on the radio today. I will follow them to any slot they go to, but I do wish that they would replay the show during the overnights.

Ron and Fez's ratings stayed steady from the last book. Somewhere in the mid-2 range. 2.6, maybe. That's not great, but it still kills D&M or Ferrell. R&F are only in trouble if the whole station flips to another format. Otherwise, they are not the problem at WNEW that O&A were referring to.

I miss the Radio Chick. Don and Mike Blow with a capital B. The only good thing is Mike's Patrick Bateman impression, and when they call phone whores and mess with them, but even those are getting old. They're made for bible-thumping soccer dads whose life is golf and bowling. Blechh.

I started listening to WNEW pretty much because there was NOTHING ELSE ON. You have either the same thousand classic rock songs-- which I used to like but fucking get old after hearing them for 7 years, or pop (short for popular-- including rap and angry pop aka nu metal aka CRAP). So between classical and talk radio i end up wanting to laugh a little.

Even on the bad days, O&A and R&F are still mildly amusing. Unfortunately D&M are so preposterously UN-funny that i end up cycling between the same old classic rock, and silence. This is insanity.

Get D&M off the air, bring back the radio chick and Tom Leykis, one of the greatest geniuses of our day. Or even better, put O&A on mornings so they can finally pound the last nail into Howard's coffin and take his throne!

I heard O&A talking about that. It was interesting because earlier in the day Don and Mike said that their ratings had increased a bit in NY. If that were true, Ron and Fez had to have stronger ratings also.

Ron and Fez stayed the same at 2.3. The problem with WNEW is the same problem since they became a talk station: questionable management. There have been so many changes in management and air talent and there is NO promotion. Zilch. Posters? Commercials? NOTHING. Don and Mike are dead wood, they have been and always been a flop. Same with the morning show. Infinity is still making money, but you have to wonder how long this clusterfuck will last. Ron and Fez deserve much better, and eventually they will be recognized as the great talents they truly are. Whew!

I have been home for I pretty much listen to the radio all day...Stern in the morning and WNEW the rest of the day and Ron and Fez are by far the best on the radio. Don and Mike I think are funny..takes some time to get used to. The WNEW morning show is so pathetic...but if Ron and Fez go to mornings...they will certinly loose to Stern.

i agree with the idea that the station as a whole is not doing well. ron and fez and O&A are the stations gangbusters - everything else sucks ass cock. i found some ratings information for WNEW. 
i know that a certain ratings service can not be named or used so I found another source of ratings information...I'll be vague about it so that I don't get edited. 
WNEW was ranked among the last 10 stations out of the top 45 stations in NY for this winter season. WNEW ratings have (very slowly) declined since last year. To get an idea of the stations ratings, WADO a spanish talk station has almost the same amount of listeners as WNEW. WFAN sports talk has double the ratings points of WNEW. The ratings leader has over 5 times the amount of ratings points than WNEW. 
If you ask me, there is no way these numbers can be accurate. But I do think ratings for WNEW are slipping a little in the NY area.

don't forget o&a are watching for themselves nowadays, it doesn't automatically mean ron and fez are in trouble. If there are they would go to another station in new york look at the radiochick
