I wanted to get some opinions on this since a lot of people disagree. I believe someone is a virgin until they have intercourse, not just oral sex.

AGGIE - Of course the answer depends on your concept of what consitutes sex. From a legal perspective, forced oral sex or anal sex are considered sodomy not sex. Sex must involve the penis penetrating the vagina even if it's just to a tiny degree.

But as I'm sure you know, the law is an ass, and the legal definition of sex has little impact on the real world and common usage (except in a criminal case).

Paroadoxically, you can consider yourself a technical virgin (even if you've had oral and anal sex - and both acts, in common usage, are considred sexual acts).

As far as waiting until marriage - good for you! There's no one right or wrong way for anyone to behave regarding sex and when to have it. If you want sex right this instant that fine, and if you want to wait until you're married that's fine as well. The important thing is that you have (or don't have) sex because it's what YOU want to do, not your partner. It's up to you to set your boundaries.

Sex is wonderful, natural, normal and healthy. You can gain all those benefits from sex within the context of marriage as well.
