zelda- which one do you prefer?

i loved the origional version, and i'm now playing the ocarina of time. and there are several versions of it out there, but which one is the best?

all the zeldas are good. The original and Ocarina of Time are the best two. The game boy ones are all very good. Adventures of Link was good. HAven't played the SNES or CD-i Zelda games.

the second one sucked donkey balls
after that I lost track until ornica of time which was pretty cool.

I liked the one for the original Nintendo (i suppose thats what you all mean by "the original",

I also like the version for the super nintendo.

Legend of Zelda III: A Link to the Past

Pure genious.

Ocarina of Time was pretty good as well, but can't hold up to III or the original.

Eh, II was a sidescrolling nightmare, but I give it props for having an RPG-esc level system.

I'm still working on Majora's Mask.

The new one for GameCube has got me pretty excited.

Nothing beats the original but the cool thing about the Zelda series is that basically all of them were really good games.

SNES is probably the best, but with how well Ocarina of Time handled the transistion to 3D, you gotta give a shout out to Nintendo for that. I think they're taking a big chance with making the new Gamecube game look like a cartoon, but the odds of them completely dropping the ball are pretty small so here's hopin'. <P>

Even though the Original was great, I think Ocarina of Time ties with it for being the best...Majora's Mask was kind of a letdown, but okey too.

the best if definetly A Link to the Past and Majora's mask is a close follow up. I have an addicttion to Oracle of Seasons for gameboy tho

every once in a while i gotta whip out the nintendo and that old gold cartridge to play the original, the graphics are horrible but its such a great game

Of course it has to be the original , the game was great. The only thing I was dissapointed about the whole game was what the final boss looked like. He remided me of a big blue motorcycle biker , but hey its NES what can you expect besides pure great midi music , bad graphics and addictive gameplay!
