History of the Ron and Fez Show

I was wondering if you might be able to give me a history of the ron and fez show. I am doing a project for my media studies class and I picked them as my topic. How long they have been working together?...etc
If you could do this I would really appreciate it.

THEGIRL - As you probably know, Ron used to work in Florida with a guy named Ron Diaz. Diaz left and Fez joined Ron and has been partnered with him ever since, making true radio magic. Watching them work together is almost poetic, how they respond to each other and never step on each others' line.

I believe they started in NY in 2000. Initially, they were a late night show with a shift from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM. They built up a big fan base in a short time.

Eventually they were moved to middays from 12 - 3. Now, as I'm sure you know they're on nightly (except Sunday) from 7:00 - 11:00 PM. The Saturday show is a repeat.

Ron and Fez are syndicated in about 20 cities.

To add my two cents:
The show in Florida was called The Ron and Ron Show but Fez was on it since long before it became The Ron and Fez Show.

Also wasn't there another Ron after Diaz left the show?

I forgot about the dot commandos!

The first show the guys had in NY was called ronandfez.com. This was changed to the ron and fez show when they moved to noon.

In the early days, people would become "dot commandos" and try to get websites and information about their chosen topic.

Then of course, there was Tasteless Ginny. From a phone call to the show where she said she'd send them a bag of poo for the right price to tastelessginny.com, ginny was a frequent contributor and had the best site on the web. She's also a terrific person and she now works for the station.
