man, i live in Waldorf, MD, and on the news tonight they were saying that a storm which has hail and a tornado warning was headed straight for us. i thought nothing of it. by the time it was over, it had missed us, but it had hit LaPlata hard, about 6 miles away. It also hit somewhere around my school but didnt hit it, we dont have school tomorow anyway because of it. needless to say, alot of my friends are homeless tonight. i was talkin to my friend dan who lives in laplata, but his aunt lives in my neighborhood, and he said he was at his aunts house now and i said why he said cause his house was right in the twisters path. i said did it get hit? he said yes and his car is ruined to. man thats scary, that could just have easily been my house or my neighborhood. i feel like ive taken all this stuff i have for granted, i feel guilty for even having it. it could all be gone in a second, and alot of people's homes, memories, irreplaceble items are gone. i cant even imagine something like that happening. i asked dan, i said "did you SEE the twister" and he said "i saw it once our house was in it".
i cant even imagine what that must have been like.
i can't think anymore, i'm going to bed, goodnight.

I think me and danfromhoboken and Gina drove thru something like that on the way to the Cruel Circus on rt 78, we prolly had hurricane force winds and some serious hail though...twisters are scary stuff, and it happened this close to home....I once saw one in colorado from like 20 miles away...and one time in central PA i was 20 minutes away from where one leveled a neighborhood in berks county, the EBS alert came over the radio....scary shit....
