for the past week i have been waking up aroused,and it hurts like hell until i relieve myself.
i dont know if i have dreams because i never remember having one when i wake up,and i am not having sex so i dont know what the problem could be.

HORDEKING......
please help me put an end to this problem for me anybody else can add what they wanna!

EARTH2RON - "Morning Wood" is perfectly normal and is pretty common. FYI a normal healthy male has several erections a night. Women too, go through stages of arousal in their sleep.

As you know, an errection occurs when blood enters the penis and is trapped there by a sphincter that also opens a duct connected to the prostate, allowing semen to be ejaculated. A different sphincter closes the bladder preventing urine from escaping when full erection has been attained.

Morning Wood presents a problem. You have to urrinate, but you can't because you have an errection. The pressure of the full bladder although painful, is in some way pleasurable as well, and the errection has a hard time (pun intended) diminishing. Eventually it will and you'll be able to urinate and relieve the pressure. Usually, you'll be able to urinate when it does. Note that you need not be completely flacid to pee, just not fully aroused.

And that my friends is the secret behind the mystery of morning wood.
