The Devils lost! NOOOOO! Oh well, can't win em all. I am now rooting for the Islanders...some might think this is being a traitor, but I like to have a team to root for. Does anyone else cheer on another team after your favorite loses?

if my team isnt in it i could careless who win's.at that point i just become a fan of the sport.i am a sorry ass ranger fan they stuck up the place the last month of the season.

no way! if the jets and yanks lose, i root for noone!! the rest of the teams can die for all i care. but i will never root for another team. never ever ever!

If the Yanks lose, I'll root for any other New York team, keep it in the city y'know? But I'll NEVER root for a team from Boston, never.

but its worse cause theyve gotten so close and they ALWAYS choke. Anyways I root for new york teams. I am a yankee fan then a Met fan. the only time i root against the mets is when they play the yanks. So i always root for a NY team. I would rather strangle my grandmother with my fallopian tubes than root for any bAston team.

I'm a Devils fan but now I'm rooting for Ottawa and San Jose.

If my teams (Mets, Devils, MetroStars, Giants, Nets)don't make the playoffs or get eliminated, I usually root for the underdog too.

Of course I do. First and foremost I am a fan of the SPORT, not just a team. If my team gets knocked out I'll root for another. Since my Flyers were pathetic this year and forgot how to score I'm rooting for Carolina (Rod Brind'Amour is one of my all-time favorite players) There is only one team I will NEVER EVER EVER root for and that's the Devils. I'd most definitely root for even a Boston team before them :p I hate...no, despise...err nah LOATHE the Devils and there is NO way in Hell you will ever get me to change my mind on that. Not even after that lowlife Stevens finally retires... :) hehe

If they decide to lose I'll root for the home team. I don't hate Boston, I feel sorry for them. Maybe they should change the color of the sox? Blue? BostonBlueSox? Sounds good to me. Get it? hehe

I am now rooting for the Islanders..

So much for that plan...for me the hockey season is effectivly over. Time to watch the Mets with full fury now that the hockey season is over...I actually have a few more games in my roller hockey league and we go onto the playoffs...root for us..

under no circumstances i will root for the following team.

Any team from Boston.
The Isles or Devils
The Giants (ok maybe, i rooted for them in the superbowl)
and especially the Yankees!!!!
(i think i jink them when i said "lets go yankees" on the oa.com board. good i'm good)
