Honestly, why does anyone think Al is gay? He's just as dull, boring, awkward, obnoxious, and just plain socially retarded around guys as he is with women. Shouldn't gay people shy away from someone as obviously socially deficient as Al? He can't even pull of being gay, he's just non-sexual.

I don't mean to sound gay, but I know gay guys and they wouldn't give Al the time of day. He's not that good looking a man. Randy should really spend more time trying to find a decent looking guy than smarming over a guy who's A. not gay and B. not interested.

I think it's more for shtick than anything else. I hope people see that...

Obviously Al is lashing out at Randy because he figures that's the best way to deflect the accusations that he is gay. The problem is Randy is not in the studio giving Al the beatings on a daily basis. That's Ron & Fez and to a lesser degree everyone else involved with the show. Problem is Al knows he doesn't have the wit or the courage to take them on, so he puts up with it. It's good radio, and he gets paid for it. If he doesn't like it, he should go to an easy listening station in Kansas. Acting like the big bad homophobe just gave me the feeling that he deserves even more beatings. LET THE BEATINGS COMMENSE!!
