I've said it before and I'll say it again - Anyone who thinks all the Palestinians want is their own nation is fooling themselves. They are a people bent on the destruction of Israel, and we are asking Sharon to negotiate with and grant land to someone bent on the annihilation of him and his people.

It's the height of absurdity.

there is no wonder their lives are beginning to be based on hate and war. give them whatever they want: Jerusalem as their capital, and their own land; they still will not stop going after the Israelis. Yes, it is mostly the terrorist organizations, Hamas, Hezbollah, Fatah, Yassar's broken off army factions, but it is spreading like a deadly virus throughout every living Palestinian soul. This land will not see peace. Sure, there might be a peace deal, and who knows, it might last a month, a year, 3 years, but it is always going to fall apart. Religion, mixed with Ancestry, mixed with Politics, mixed with Pride = hell on earth <P>

First of all the title of this thread "To the supporters of Palestinian Terrorists" is meant to suggest that everyone who does not agree with Horde King is a supporter of Palestinian terrorism. If it's based just on the evidence of this video, then Horde King is trying to state that if you don't think that a group of Palestinians staging a funeral is proof that all Palestinians are terrorists, then you are a supporter of terrorism.

This video is an anecdote, (from Merriem-Webster: a usually short narrative of an interesting, amusing, or biographical incident). Horde King is trying to demonstrate that because these Palestinians staged a funeral...

...what ARE you trying to demonstrate Horde King? That all Palestinians are terrorists? That Arabs control the media? That the Israeli military didn't kill anyone except terrorists in Jenin?

What exactly is this supposed to mean? Because this thread doesn't make any sense to me. It seems to me that a video of some Palestinians staging a funeral only demonstrates that these particular Palestinians are trying to manipulate something, (I can't see what that would be though). Considering there are plenty of photographs of dead Palestinians in Jenin, (go to Yahoo Full Coverage and do a photo search for "Jenin"), and plenty of witnesses - from Palestinian civilians, Red Cross officials, doctors, peace activists, aid workers, UN officials, and even Israeli soldiers - to mean that staging funerals would not be worth much as a propaganda tool. So I don't think that Alan Keyes or Horde King knows what the point of this "funeral" was. But they trotted out the video anyway, and tried to prove a point that would appeal to people who aren't willing to do the little bit of work it takes to understand what is taking place in the Middle East.

If you want to know what is going on, READ the Mitchell Report (http://usinfo.state.gov/regional/nea/mitchell.htm), READ the State Department Human Rights Reports on Israel and Palestine (http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/hrrpt/2001/nea/8262.htm), READ newspaper articles and not the OP-Eds. Think for yourself, and don't listen to ANYONE who presents an anecdote and says that it proves some broad generalized point. That's manipulation.
