Sunday Times Crossword reference?

One of the answers in the Sunday Times crossword was "Pinellas"-- and the clue was ___ Park, Florida.

Since it was the mother's day puzzle... and I've never seen a reference to Pinellas Park in that paper before... am I crazy to think that this is a veiled reference to all the Fezitorials linking Pinellas Park, Florida to "Muhhhther" ?

Well, my mother used to write crossword puzzles back in our hometown of...Pinellas Park, Florida...I knew this because she would spend all day at her desk with the local handyman, Bobo. He was there underneath the desk, probably fixing it, and she'd be sweaty from trying to think, yelling every so often "Across! Down! Across! Down!" and he'd yell out four letter words between slurping...hey...wait a minute...

I'm pretty sure I've seen Pinellas Park mentioned in the puzzle before, which would just make it a funny coincidence. On the other hand, the puzzles are submitted by readers - is there a name underneath the puzzle? Maybe we can find out if that person is a RF listener...
