TONY - Remember I'm not an MD.

Time Magazine did a report on the misnamed herbal "remidies" and found that the vast majority of them are ineffective if taken at the maximal suggested dosage. Some would need several bottles daily for weeks to potentially have an effect.

Ginko Biloba isn't meant as an aid for concentration anyway. If it works at all, it's supposed to improve memory in those suffering from age related memory loss.

You need to find a place w/o distractions where you can devote your entire concentraion to studying. Some people find the library to be good for that. Others prefer more solitude. Find your study spot and don't allow anything to interupt you while studying.

BTW, it's not unusual that you're suddenly interested in the librarians conversation. You recognize the need to study but are likely not happy about it. Consequently, even listening to people talk about a five cent fine is distracting.

Ginkgo Blioba, Ginseng, Valerian, and many other herbal remedies do a lot more damage to your liver and kidneys than anything else. Take a multivitamin and get plenty of exercise. Also restricting the amount of sugar you eat and believe it or not EGGS also affect your ability to focus.
