Whats up with WJFK

Lately WJFKhad been cutting ron and fez off early. Last night they went to commericial at 2:15 and after the break the Don and Mike replay came on. the night before they ended at around 2:30. Their not supposed to end until 3 right? its a four hour show. Im gettin a little pissed that im missing the last 45 minutes of ron and fez because WJFK likes those crapwhore scumbags Don and Mike better apparently. Its bad enough they dont play RnF live but to cut them off early for a Don and Mike replay is ridiculous.
damn them. damn them to hell.

Ryan, most of the time JFK has played the entire show, it's just that there's not as many commercials as WNEW has to fill up the entire 4 hours. Usually on Fridays the show goes til 3 I think because JFK sells more commercials on friday.

Gameguy is right... they usually do play the whole show, with less/shorter commercials.
But Wednesday they did cut them off early. Stupid bastards!!!!

I have noticed this as well. I called the station yesterday and asked about this and was told that WNEW sells a lot more commercial time on the show than JFK can sell and the stopsets are consequently shorter than when they run live from new york. Usually the WNEW stopsets are about 8 minutes long on NEW. They seldom run more than two or three in DC. If you'll notice that when they run those station lineup bumpers on JFK they mention Howard, DnM, OnA, the Junkies, and the Redskins. they aren't even trying to push RnF on JFK and the lack of sales in that timeslot shows it. <P> <P>

Though they still have very few commercials, it is promising that since the year started they seem to have a much wider variety of different sponsors...for almost two years, you'd just hear the same commercials lopped again and again, and most of those were public service announcements...

Hey TLM, I live in northern virginia, sterling if you know the area.

I checked my recordings of this week's shows and on 2 of the four nights JFK cut the show off a little bit early (ron and fez said they'd be right back and the next thing on was D&M) that sucks. I need my SEEYUH's dammit.
