Did anyone catch it? I stopped watching the show regularly about 3-4 years ago, because there were so many unresolved issues. It was actually good to see the finale, because for people like myself, who haven't watched, it did tie up a lot of loose ends that I had wondered about. For regular viewers, though, much of it was probably just rehashing what they already knew.

Anyway, it seems as it it's a perfect setup to another Xfiles Feature movie...anyone anctually looking foward to this?

SPOILERS

I saw it and thought it was blah. It left a lot of things opened, made a lot of things more confusing and a good chunk was just recapping the plotlines for no other reasons except to recap the plotlines. It added nothing.

The ending itself was lame. I mean it was nice seeing CSM again but it was disappointing for him to officially be knocked off.

And with Mulder and Scully still as fugitives deciding the point of the journey is hope and talking to dead people nothing was really left answered.

Of course, you can't make a sequel with everything wrapped up with a nice bow can you?

I was too lazy to watch it. I'm not even kidding. I was lying on the couch and it came on, and there really wasn't anything else good on, but I switched it because I thought "gee this will take too much effort and thinking to watch"

I did used to watch it back in the day. Anyone care to explain what happened to Mulders sister?

I thought the episode once and for all pinned down what the "truth" really is. The fate and the meaning of the old Syndicate, the difference between the supersoldiers - altered humans - and aliens, the fact that aliens do exist, and that they are coming Dec. 22, 2012.

The date I got right when I called the show for the contest, BUT I ALREADY WAS IN UNIQUE NY! I could have rocked in the studio on this one.

At the same time the show kinda sucked because the show is known for Mulder and Scully. Everyone wanted to know what happened to them. What happened? Nothing that hasn't happened before...ho f-ing hum.

Be warned. If there is a movie, expect it to rock. They'll have to put in the oncoming alien invasion. That will be cool shi+.

Anyone care to explain what happened to Mulders sister? She's playing an intergalactic game of ring around the rosie. Here's the explanation from tvtome.com from episode 150- Closure:

The Fate of Samantha Mulder As Mulder finally discovers in this episode, the specifics behind his sister's disappearence were: Samantha Mulder was taken from her home in 1973, her father was supposed to have taken her to be abducted by the aliens along with Cassandra Spender, but he refused at the last second so they went to his house to get her. Shortly after, she is returned and goes to live with CGB Spender (Cigarette Smoking Man) and his son Jeffery on April Air Force Base. Samantha has no memories of her family but can vaguely remember a brother. She is repeatedly taken and tested for years until 1979 when she is 14, she runs away from the base. She is picked up by the police and taken to a hospital, listed as a Jane Doe. CSM and other members of the Conspiracy arrive to pick her up, but when they go into her room she is gone. She was taken from this world by Walk-Ins, old souls looking for new homes which live in starlight. They took her to prevent her from suffering great pain during her life. Other children that were taken by the Walk-Ins were Amber-Lynn LaPierre, Kathy-Lee Tencate's son Dean, and Harold Piller's son, who is the ghostly boy that leads Mulder to the truth.
