Hey people.. me and my production team (good people) are working on a new film for the Coney Island film fest in august.
If anyone has seen THE WARRIORS its kind of a mix of that movie and west side story BUT its documenting the end of old school hardcore and the beginning of new school punk pop emo.
There are two groups- old school and new school and obviosly one of the old school girls falls in love with a new school guy. an old school guy dies, a new school guy goes gay, all this while theyre battling eachother- complete with hardcore dance off at the climax (Yes pulling down clouds, floor punching ect..)
Honestly right now we need peopel to be new schoolers. we'll be filming for two days only (its a short film) in june or july as soon as we get clearance on all our permits.
now we sure as hell wont pay you, but we always get food and if you help you can have some of our food for free- Ive just never directed a production with this many people involved and im in need of people!! I am especcially in need of people who are not white because Ive just been recruiting hardcore kids from shows I go to and this is looking way too arian for my taste (if u know old school HC u know what im talking about.)
but yeah, I need people!! let me know if ur down.
