Amazon (I'm lazy) shipped mine on Sunday, it has the bonus DVD.
What is on the DVD anyways?
I don't buy many CD's, but I loved The Marshall Mathers LP and HAD to get The Eminem Show.

I haven't bought my commercial copy yet, but I've had the bootleg for a week or so and I have to say so far I'm not that impressed. It has its merits but it doesn't seem as good as the first two. It's not as upbeat as far as music and rythym than the last two albums, although the subject matter is just as demented. I am a big fan though, so I'll give it a chance. I'll strike up the shortcomings to bad downloaded versions and go buy it. From what I've listened to, the album isn't bad, it's just not the Eminem I've heard before. <P>

I like the single, but my friend kinda killed it. He has a buddy in the music business so he got an advanced copy of the single. I listened to every possible version of the song in a loop for an hour. Sorry but for me, the song is dead before radio got the chance.

I've said it before, I'll say it again...Eminem seems to be obsessed with people imitating him, but I can't really name a single person who sounds like Eminem or does anything like him...is his rival Weird Al?

So wondrous as you there sleeping
Let's go drive 'till morning comes

alright, i love you guys and i tried to ignore this thread, but it just won't die.
listen, eminem sucks don and mike cock. alright, he's a decent rapper. decent, moderate at best. but he has only ONE style, and he never changes it up. real rappers know how to change flow, which is why he cannot. he's not a real rapper.
he raps about how much he doesn't care about mtv and stuff, but he mentions them all the time. he is no different then the people he bashes, he's a trl fuck like all the rest.
he acts as though he is some freedom of speech advicator, but he simply needs controversy or he cannot sell records. end of story.
and at the end of the song that "naa naa naa naa naa" crap is HORRENDOUS. i would rather listen to don and mike then listen to him.
he's a media whore who tries to act cool but is just a pussy whiteboy who will be forgotten as soon as music gets good again. i'm sick of his whiney bitch voice singing about how everybody thinks of him. i don't give a shit and i hope he dies.
other than that, how y'all doin?

I think he's pretty good, but it's kind of annoying when he tries to take on Moby, the Executive branch, or Vanilla Ice. Why bother? I remember hearing one of the songs from his last solo album, where he disses New Kids on the Block. I thought, "Take that Donny, wherever you are!"

I use to feel the exact same way fatty did. But I have to admit, as someone who's listened to rap for 15 years, this album is REALLY good. He does switch up styles abit, the production is fantastic (Thank Dre) and he just overall really show a genuine talent. Mybiggest problem with the last record was it seemed to be him crying about how hard it is to be famous. Not interested. But this album has alot more honesty and emotion on it. It really is just a damn fine album. Its no Talib Kwalie, but its damn good.
