Now that they have been out....Gamecube/XBOX/PS2

now that the three leaders of electronic games hae been out for a long enough period for anyone who is anyone to at least seen what it looks like, if not play it, What system does everyone prefer...and this excludes the CPU only because it is multi-purpose, not strickly games...unless your sick with your cpu.



I got gamecube personally, and I like the graffics and the game play for most of the game, even some of the kiddie games aren't that bad...but still.....CHILDREN based games need to be aborted...It has Resident Evil but still...ps2 has gta and the whole "Mature" games on some sort of deal with the devil. and XBOX is just insane...there is no real explaination...but still a game is a game...I dun get the dual analog sticks on XBOX, or ps2. The XBOX controller is a lil awkward to hold...I heard the japaneese??? version of the controller is smaller and more comfortable to hold.

I've played all many times and I can honestly say Gamecube is the best and has the greatest games(soon, atleast) <P>
The problem with X-Box is that the controller is way to big and the buttons way too close. It is only good for its graphics and has no good games that are exclusively for X-Box. <P>
Playstation 2 is good, but the games that are exclusively on PS2 get boring after a while(GTA3, State of Emergency, FFX, etc) <P>
Gamecube has many games that exclusively on Gamecube and all of them are great. it also has the best games coming out (WWF Wrestlemania x-8, ZELDA!, Metroid Prime) <P>
Gamecube also has the best controller, it just molds right into your hand. I love it. and plus, Resident Evil just blows all games, on the market right now, FAR AWAY! I have it and i just cant get enough of it. <P>
That is why gamecube is the best system on the market! <P>

I personally have PS2 and have not tried the others. Yes GTA3 does get boring after a while. I don't think FFX gets boring but after you beat it you don't really want to play it again right after (some people feel this way). But from what I've seen I gotta go with PS2. I mean Metal Gear Solid 2! If PS2 just gets some good online games like FFXI and others it will be unstoppable.

I got the Gamecube, and I'm a littel pissed at the HORRIBLE game selection so far. Resident Evil is the 1st REALLY GOOD game for the Cube so far. I have Luigi's Mansion, Madden, that shitty Waverace thing, Super Smach Bros, and another one that I forgot. And they all started to SUCK after awhile. But I do think that in the long run with Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Donkey Kong, and others, it will be the best one out. Anyway, I'm NOT buying another system! What do I look like, Rory Hamptons? I don't light my cigars on Hundreds.

After years of getting shitty systems (Genesis, 32X, Sega CD, GameGear, N64) I'm finally happy with my PS2.

PS2 just got exclusive rights to GTA, so you mother f'ers better get a PS2 is you want to be cool.

PS2 definitley has the better selection of games compared to Gamecube, but it has been out a year longer.

I saw a list of upcoming games for Gamecube within the year yesterday, and they look fantastic. I think it's only a matter of time before theres a huge selection of games...right now there aren't more than 5 quality games for the system, and they'll be a lot more by the end of this year.

Problem with XBOX is the controller...I don't like it. Way to heavy and uncomfortable IMO...but even though I like the Gamecube controller, I still think the N64 controller was the best of any system i played.
