I wanted some advice... I just got my network set up at home, and I'm on a hight speed internet connection (finally)... Now, I love RPG's and I wanted to get into Everquest...

My questions are:
1) should I even bother, is it too late for me to ever catch up? will I start and just get destroyed by level 60 Archmages every time I try to start?

2) should I get all the expansions to bring me up to date right away? or can I start with the basic game and work my way up?

thanks for any advice

I have never played this before, but I heard you need to pay a shit load to play. I think it's coming out for PS2 around christmas so I 'm gunna wait to see if it looks any good. Plus my computer is 6 years old so I can't even try it. :-(

Usually the best way to go about these things is to get in on the ground floor.

I just got a new computer a few weeks ago. I still have dial-up though. I'm just starting college at St. Johns and I'm afraid that if I start playing Everquest, I will get addicted enough that my studies will suffer.
