Is Daredevil a failure already?

With Spiderman already making $333,641,492
and that's just with 2 weeks in the theater,
will Daredevil be considered a failure because it won't do as well as spiderman, even if it makes $100 million?

Well Michael Clarke Duncan is going to be Kingpin. I think Colin Ferrell will make a good Bullseye and I think it would be worth it to see Jennifer Gardner in that red outfit of Elektra.

I'm not into Affleck as DD. This to me is already a failure.

But at least its not Sandra Bullock as Wonder Woman, or thankfully, Nicolas cage as Superman.

However, I do like Michael Clarke "The Green Mile" Duncan as the Kingpin (I was hoping Brando would be up for the role).

I don't read comics but I saw Spider-man and loved it. I knew a little about that plot so it helped me make my way to the thearter. I have no idea what Daredevil is or what he can do.

Despite my utter hatred of Ben Affleck, I think the Daredevil movie will probably come out alright, in that I think it will probably make a decent movie. I'm not too thrilled with Duncan being cast, but he's nowhere near as bad a choice as Affleck.

The one I'm worried about is Hulk. They're dicking around heavily with the origin and concept, and every interview I've seen with Ang Lee about the film doesn't inspire me with confidence. He doesn't seem to grasp the character or the concept. I know some of you will scoff at that - after all it's just a comic book movie. But it matters. When you have a director who's in tune with the concept / character, you get a Spider-Man, as opposed to a "Batman & Robin".

saw it loved it,but it wasnt a action flick which daredevil is i just dont know if he can pull it off.i still think that hugh jackman from the x-men should have gotten the role.

Give Affleck a chance, I think the movie is gonna be really good. The cast is really good and if you read the latest issue of Wizard magazine they seem to be going in the right direction. Check out the scene in the graveyard with DD standing on top of the tombstone. It looks really good.

I think the Daredevil movie will turn out okay because it's going to be a REAL movie. Since he doesn't possess any actual super powers maybe the studio won't ruin it with chintzy FX like they've ruined every other movie out there. CGI sucks and every one seems to be in on it EXCEPT for studios. Spiderman looked jittery and fake. So did the new Yoda. So will the Hulk. It's almost impossible for those fx "wizards" to simulate actual mass. Even the Dinousaurs in the Jurrassic movies look very lightweight, as if they don't weigh anything. The Hulk is suppoosed to weigh almost a ton (or something like that) yet they'll have him jumping around and shit just because they think it looks cool. Has JarJar Binks taught them nothing?! Daredevil will probably rely on the script and therefore will probably be a better movie.

The Hulk ALWAYS jumped around in the comic. You have to get away from the Bill Bixby Hulk.

That's how the Hulk get's around, getting a good run going then a big ass leap in the air.
