Personally, I want to see the supposed all out battle between Obi Wan and Anakin...I think that'll be most probably the best light saber battle in Star wars...

A battle between Obi Wan and
Anakin would be nice to see.
Maybe another battle with
Yoda?? Gotta love a 3 foot green
guy that can fight like that.

I don't think they start filming until mid 2003...

ANd I'm all for less light saber fighting, more moisture farming demonstrations.

I've actually been thinking of it and first off Obi Won and Anakin will fight (and subsequently Anakin fall into lava). It was this fight that caused Anakin to get all messed up according to one of the official novelizations of the first three movies. Of course sex will take place- how else will Luke and Leia come into being?

less CGI/blue screen and more substance in the CGI they choose. They cram us with eye candy but that's all it is.
a return to the epic feel - no Diners or crap like that, new original characters we like watching and are interested in. also more legendary ships that stick with us instead of just generic looking crap.
Jar Jar dying- I know that people joke about that but I think that it will really be dark if the goofy character is impaled when Anakin turns
Better and more memorable dialogue. I know people argue that the original scripts weren't that good but the movies made us buy into them. There are also no throwaway lines that work their way into pop culture in the recent ones like there were from the first episodes. Nothing wrong with a competent screenwriter to make a movie more gooder.
A fucking space battle. I want the final chapter in this trilogy to have a battle in the sky with some of the best ships we've ever seen that will wow us. None of the previous 2 have had a GREAT space battle, in fact episode 2 had none.

And the most horrid thing I've heard is that Natalie Portman is actually filming scenes for a new release of episode 6, Return of the Jedi. He just likes raping the holy trilogy doesn't he?

I'm interested to see the fate of Count Dooku. In order for Annakin to become Sidious' apprentice Dooku has to die.(always 2 w/ the sith, no more, no less) I'm wondering who does him in - Annakin? Yoda? Obi Wan?

Jeers to me, Nerts on you!

based on ep IV, Vader hunts down and kills all the Jedi, except Obi-wan and Yoda...
They have to show this! and not puss out like the Tusken camp scene...
(hmm, Mace Windu vs Anakin/Vader)

Oh and with all these Jedi, I'd like to see another pull the trick Obi-Wan pulls in ep 4, when he vaporized himself, because he was ready to die....

also more legendary ships that stick with us instead of just generic looking crap

That actually hit me the other day watching ROTJ, (VHS sucks!) There's nothing even close to a Millenium Falcon in this trilogy. Even Slave I looks blah....

Even Slave I looks blah....They probably cut down on the detail of the ships because of the time it takes to render them when doing the CGI. The Naboo ship in the beginning looked like a silver rip-off of a Stealth Bomber.

I've been thinking about other possible improvements that can be made and I know people have complained about how there's no character to relate to, no Solo-esque character - the guy who isn't into the force who can be our eyes and ears and I know who that could be (and he should have been in episode 2) - the guy who first boned Amadala. She mentioned him in one line, she said he became an artist.

This guy should be our solo (and I don't mean Solo-lite, he'd be his own character but follow a Solo archetype). He shouldn't be an artist, he should be an ambassador or a low level politician. He'd be the guy realizing what Palpatine was doing. While all the jedi was using the force, he'd be using common sense. If Anakin/Padme didn't get married he could have swept her off her feet causing Anakin to get jealous. Meanwhile in episode 3 our young ambassador realizees the dooku/palpatine connection, Anakin kills him out of jealousy, this brings him to the attention of Palpatine who realizes that he can use him to GREAT advantage.

They also, for some reason, totally dropped the Virgin Birth and the Midichlorans from episode 1, I wasn't a fan of either plot point but they were there and should be for a reason.

Massive, full scale Jedi death

I agree with the Solo character. and with all the Jedi dying (we know it'll happen), it opens a place for such characters.

A dark, oppressive villain. Darth Vader is an all time classic. Darth Tyrannus is not.

Anakin's father to be revealed. (Palpatine? Qui-Gon?) The line wasn't that Ani was a virgin birth, just that "he has no father. I raised him myself." That can be read as a virgin birth or the father is AWOL.

"he has no father. I raised him myself."

"from a certain point of view" :-)

Anakin's father to be revealed. (Palpatine? Qui-Gon?) I doubt that Palpatine or Qui-Gon would shack up with a slave on a desert planet, and leave her there. I think I read somewhere about Shmi "being impregnated" by the midichlorians.

I'd like to see what it is that brings Anakin to the "breaking point". He is already arrogant, and because of his attachment to his mother and Amidela, emotional. Based on the way that certain scenes were "paralleled" in Episode II, I think it will be similar to the battle between Luke and Vader in ROTJ- with Sidious pushing him to fight Dooku or someone else.
