Does anyone remember a show on MTV called the state? It was the funniest sketch comedy show ever, similar to kids in the hall. There were all these funny assed skits like "You dip your balls in it", "Im doug and im outta heeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrreeeeeee", "the Popa isa Comin" , "I look like a fucking blueberry", "toothbrush" and "Lets go to the zoo to watch the monkeys do it to name a few". That was prolly the best show EVER to be on MTV and what did they do? THe got rid of it (just like the did to sifl and ollie, those poor socks didnt see it comin) only to give us total crap like the Jenny McCarthy Show and Global Groove.
*On an interesting side note, being forced to watch the Jenny McCarthy show is now used as a form of punishment for stealing in some small third world countries.*
Comedy central tried to give us viva variety with 3 of the states stars, but we all know how much that show sucked.
Does anyone remember how good this show was?? Does anyone know if there are any clips of it out there anywhere?

The State rocked. I've actually seen them recently because my brother's girl has a whole bunch of episodes on tape. One of my favorites was when there's the sideways house and they guy walks in and dies. You're right too, MTV fucked that show and Sifl and Olly. Oh boy look, it's the lyracist lounge show!

I think I'm the only person that's never seen "The State". Everyone assumes I have, but I'm out of the loop. Bastards.

Sifl and Olly, however, was a great ass show. Anyone that has seen it I know is instantly cool, because those fucks at MTV put it on at an ungodly hour.
Faaaaaake blooooooddddd...you rock me like the real thing...and if you were the reallll thinggggggg...you'd rock me morrrrre....

That show rocked. The State have a great webpage, really informative about the group. And MTV did put out on tape with a lot of the skits on it.

The State rocked, but i loathed the Johnny Blue Jeans show that spawned from that character. it was like a reject variety show, which is hard to make bad.
