The Jedi Knights vs. The Green Lantern Corps

A group of people with laser swords, telekenesis and limited telepathy vs. a group of 3601 people all of who have a ring that both protect the user from mortal harm and create (green) constructs that the wearer imagines. It is only limited by the ring wearers imagination and will power. Also, the ring has a power limit (and time limit of 24 hours) before it has to be recharged with the Green Lantern battery.


Earth GL's are John Stewart and Guy Gardner.

No Hal (I used to be the greatest Green Lantern until I went insane and slaughtered all of the other Green Lanterns) Jordan, unless you want to team him up with the sith somehow.


No Anakin (what stupid foreshadowing they have of my turning evil in the prequels) Skywalker either.

Since the Green Lantern Corps was disolved years ago, and there's just Kyle, without the 24 hour time limit, the Jedi outnumber him and kick his ass to Oa.

If I can comment.....

1. Well, it is true that the Green Lantern Corps was destroyed, so were the Jedi. Luke is the only Jedi left (much like Kyle is the only Green Lantern left), but who would win if the Green Lantern Corps HAD fought the jedi? Better yet, could Kyle Rayner, the last Green Lantern beat Luke Skywalker, the last jedi? (at least in the movies)

And what role would Alan Scott, Jade, Princess Leia and Han Solo play?



2. A jedi with a yellow lightsaber. We never saw it, but I don't think the GLC would really have anything that could stand up to that.

3. Green Lantern Corps rings can't be forceably removed. Meanwhile, Kyle Rayner's ring just got the new ability of returning to him on command.

A Jedi with a wooden Light Sabre would ruin the Golden Age Green Lantern's (Alan Scott) day.

Overall, I'd give it to the Corps because they wouldn't have to get closer than one mile to take them out.

Well, in the Justice League comic..the first appearance with Prometheus. He messed with GL made it so he couldn't concentrate and therefore couldn't use his ring. If the Green Lantern is weak minded, he could be easily confused.

Another way, is they blinded a Green Lantern, a blinded GL can't focus what he creates, see Tower of Babel Justice League. A Jedi on the other hand could be blind, but use the force to fight.

And Jedi's can fight and don't need to recharge their rings with a lantern. So if it's Jedi Knights vs. Green Latern Corps or even Luke Skywalker vs Kyle Radner. I give it to the Jedis, they can go longer into battle.
