ok so i was just watching the pearl jam touring band dvd, and they stopped in between songs to point something out... there's this chick at the side of the stage signing everything that they were saying and singing during the show. so, eddie goes over and pulls her up onto the stage and she's signing and dancing around from up there.

now, maybe i'm missing something, but does this seem a little strange to anyone else? i mean, if you need someone to sign for you, that would mean you're deaf, right? and, if you're deaf, what would you be doing going to a concert in the first place? please someone enlighten me.. this is driving me nuts

even though people are deaf they can still feel the vibrations of the music especially at a concert, and if they sign for them they can feel the lyrics and the music..the thing is if somoene is signing they have to be bale to be see by the hearing impaired
