POWER AND CHAOS
Maybe it's to make the pool seem a little deeper?
But I like to turn their Blue water green though...

The pool monsters are blue; they don't want to be seen.

red may be a little too icky. it would look like a bunch of girls who were ragging it were in there

I think it is to give the water a "more tropical feel" - like the waters you would see in Bermuda - aqua blue. Also if the pool were painted white, the water would probably appear very dirty.

Why do they always use blue water when advertizing diapers and tampons? I think it would be great if they used the correct colors/textures.

i havent really been to too many pools since i live in the city and all, but the ones i've been to have been white... it would be cool and scary if they were black though.. i think that's what i'd do if i had a pool

Most of the pools are painted with red spots from all of the Wilding incedents.

Maybe the blue color is a "cooler" color and doesn't absorb the heat like a darker color, and doesn't blindingly reflect light like white.

i think its the lining of the pool that is blue, not the actual water. who would dye their pool water blue? i think it would stain your skin or something to that extent.
