I wouldn't consider it cheating, but what's important to you is how your wife would feel about it. Some women nowadays will go with you, some won't but wouldn't care if you do, some would be bothered if you went. Sounds like you've got one of the last, (I had one of those too, once. my opinion is that it is cheating.

for you tho', it may be different. cheating is one thing, this is more of right vs. wrong issue.
if the wife says its ok, then i guess it's ok. if you can talk to her about it, tell her when you go and its approved, then i guess its ok.
but if you do it and you dont think she approves - wrong. if you do it and dont tell her - wrong. if you find more pleasure in the lap dance then her - wrong.
But for me. I couldn't do it. I'm too much of a straight-up square to go I guess.

I'd say no. It's that way for both men and the ladies too.

Getting into the "guilt factor", you should be able to tell your significant other that you and "the gang" are heading over to one of those joints. If you HAVE to do it on the sly, that's being dishonest in your relationship. That's different than cheating, but probably just as bad.

There are 2 seperate issues being discussed here.

Issue #1:A lap dance is not cheating. If I go to a club I usually don't get dances. I feel awkward just sitting there while it is going on. There have been times where I'll start blushing and break out into a sweat because I feel so weird. The bad thing about this is that some of the girls like to see how flustered they can get me and it has gotten very embarassing.

Issue #2: Trust.
Anytime you feel the need to sneak around to do something there is a problem. If you can't just say that you're going to a club then you shouldn't. But I feel that way about everything in a relationship. Wether it's sneaking food that's not on your diet, not telling your boyfriend you spent $200 on a pair of shoes, or especialy if you can't tell them who you are hanging out with.
