The fact that you got REPLICA written down the side of your gun, and the fact that I got DESERT EAGLE .50 written on the side of mine, you should precipitate your balls into shrinking along with your presence. Now...fuck off.

Not at all, I'm listening to The Eminem Show all the time. White America, Sing for the Moment and 'Till I Collapse are tight!
It's why we sing for these kids that don't have a thing
Except for a dream and a fucking rap magazine
Who post pinup pictures on their walls all day long
Idolise their favourite rappers and know all they songs
Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in they lives
So they sit and they cry at night, wishing they die
Till they throw on a rap record, and they sit and they vibe
We're nothing to you, but we're the fuckin' shit in their eyes

He's not for everyone.
Anna, I've been screaming that line out at people since I heard it the first time. Maybe there is something subliminal in it.
And I doubt he's fucking any famous women just on the fear that his next album will have something about them on it.

He's banging Britney Murphy, the "I'll never teeeeeell" chick. Anyone notice her making a fucking fool of herself by dancing while holding up 2 middle fingers during Eminem's ENTIRE performance at the MTV movie awards? That really bothered me. I hope he fucks her in the ass and dumps her.

NOBODY LISTENS TO TECHNO
hahahaha... okay I feel better now.
Yeah I saw Brittany Murphy- she looked like she
was SO into the music, which I thought was kind of
refreshing cause if your watching a performance
and people are just swaying- somethings wrong
with the performer.

Not me, can't stop listening to the cd. But when an artist comes out with something new, there is always the big media push at first. So, I'm not sick of his music, but we will probably see him everwhere while he's promoting...

Eminem is interesting on many levels. First, his rapping, his 'flow' if you will, is top notch. Second, his lyrics are incredibly telling too. Even if you hate him, you have to say, "What is it about our culture that some guy can get popular by talking about taking Vicadin, being bullied and murdering the mother of his child." Those of us who choose to dig deeper can see that he has tapped into this unnamed frustration that seems to lurk beneath the surface of our culture, especially youth suburban, culture, these days, e.g. Woodstock '99, Columbine etc . . . Lastly he makes you think beyond the usual cars and crystal of generic hip-hop, and the I hate my parents angst of a Marilyn Manson . Anyone who listens to 'White America', the first cut of his latest CD, I mean really listens to it, can see his genius. This is rebellion, not dyeing your hair green or sticking a spike through your tongue. He truly challenges us and society to rethink ourselves.

He's trying to drum up publicity to keep himself in the "public eye". That whole "out of sight, out of mind" mentality.

It pisses me off that he says that he is some big MTV rebel yet he shows up for their awards , puts any video he makes on their network , and MTV is glad to put him on as well. Want to see a real rebel look at the bass player for Rage Against the Machine.

I won't say he's not talented, far from it actually but really one of the big reasons he's as big as he is is that he's exactly what 2 live crew was when I was growing up and what elvis was for our folks. He's what the the media and the religious right have focused on for kids parents to be afraid of for the moment and that's why kids want to hear him. Personally, I have heard enough. It's the same thing in s shiny new package. That's why I stick with the old school. At least then I know why I'm hearing the same thing over and over.
Sorry, I'll sit down now.

I would love to know who you people listen to.Eminem is such a highly skilled emcee he puts
most of the garbage that is out today to shame.Anybody who calls Eminem Vanilla Ice or says he just needs to be in the public eye obviously has no clue and is just judging on what you hear in the media!

Eminem has put out some great stuff - undeniable lyrical skills, inventive, funnier and, in an odd way, more truthful than most records. He's up there with the best of The Simpsons, and I mean that as the highest compliment.
Pray for Mojo.
